Mr. Jack Parsley, age 79, of Cleveland, went home to be with The Lord on Friday, April 4, 2025.
Jack was born in Woodbury, TN on May 30, 1945, to the late Jessie and Lydia Parsley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Ann Parsley. Jack served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He retired from Delta Airlines after decades of faithful work. After retirement, Jack went to work for Travelers Insurance Co., bringing help and need to those who experienced hurricane and natural disasters. Jack was a member of Chattahoochee Baptist Church.
Survivors include his beloved wife Elaine Moody Parsley, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law Tim and Anne Senft, Birmingham, AL; son and daughter-in-law David and Adrienne Parsley, Charlottesville, VA; daughter Marie Marby, Hollis, TX; step-children daughters, Debbie Moody Flynn, Michelle, and Robert Padgett all of Cleveland; siblings Ruth Brown, Peggy Young, Junior Parsley (Paulette), David Gunter; sister-in-law Ernestine Heard; grandchildren McKenzie Card, Michaela Senft, Sarah Senft, Aidan Parsley, Brendan Parsley, Claire Parsley; great-grandchildren Caleb Card, Ada Sinclair Card; step-grandchildren Duncan Moody, Nolan Flynn and Matt Flynn; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Chattahoochee Baptist Church. The Rev. Chris Anderson, the Rev. Bobby Ivester, and the Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the service hour at the church.
