Mr. Jackson Horace Garrison, Jr., age 39, of Ridgecrest, California formerly of Dahlonega, passed away June 12, 2020.

Jackson was born in Dahlonega, Georgia on December 15, 1980. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.T. and Bobbie Garrison and his maternal grandmother, Violet Blackwell. He served honorably in the United States Navy. Jackson worked  as an aviation mechanic in the Navy and he was a member of the Mental Riders Motorcycle Club.

Jackson is survived by his mother, Helen Blackwell Poole of Carnesville, Georgia; father, Jackson Horace Garrison, Sr. of Dahlonega; sister, Jennifer Thompson of Dahlonega; nephews, Christopher and Isaac Thompson; and niece, Addie Thompson. Several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, June 26, 2020 at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Bobby Smith, the Rev. Phillip Miller, and the Rev. Phil Miller will officiate. Interment will follow in Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
