Our baby, Jacob Christopher Wimpy, age 14 months, of Dahlonega, GA went home to be with our Lord Friday, February 28, 2014 at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Atlanta, GA. May he rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Carl E. Wimpy. Jacob was the son of Christopher Chase Wimpy and Tina Danyel Cochran-Martinez. He is survived by his parents listed above, as well as five older siblings; great grandparents, Donald Lancette, Judith Lancette, and Bonnie Wimpy; grandparents, Carl E. (Buck) II and Lisa R. Wimpy; aunts and uncles, Tony and Amanda Wimpy Hodges, Taylor Ross Wimpy, and A. Garrett Wimpy. A number of cousins and other relatives also survive. The Wimpy family will be having a memorial service for Jacob that will be held at 1 PM Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.
