James T. Clarkson, Sr born March 8, 1939 in Danbury CT, passed away October 31, 2016 in Bradenton, FL.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara L. Clarkson; son, Jeff Clarkson; and son, Mark Jones.

He is survived by his brother, Fred (Sharon) Clarkson of Bellaire, FL;daughter, Wendy (Robert) Wixson of Bradenton, FL; son, Jim (Angela) Clarkson of Seminole, FL; daughter, Lorri (Thorney) Mincey of Dahlonega, GA; seven grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at 3 PM on Nov. 19, 2016 At the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Burial will follow at Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Saturday November 19, 2016 from 1 PM until 3 PM.
