James A. Satterfield, age 78, of Dahlonega, GA died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 following a period of declining health. James lived most of his life in Lumpkin County. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of Hightower Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. He was the son of the late Noah and Lillie Lance Satterfield and was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Martin Satterfield; daughter, Teresa Day; several sisters and two brothJames A. A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 3 PM Friday April 24, 2015 at Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County. Rev. J R Fields will officiate.
