Mrs. Martha Jane Anderson, age 89, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. She was born in Austell, Georgia on May 15, 1932, to the late George Dover and the late Mae Parks Dover. Jane was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She loved her family and loved Jesus more than anything on this earth.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, James Anderson; siblings Vivian Stephens, Vinson Dover, and Bob Dover; and great grandchildren Hayden Southerlan and Joshua Edwards.

She is survived by her children, Judy (Tim) Bankus of Covington and James (Dawn) Anderson of Dahlonega; sister Barbara "Babs" Caldwell; eight grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, March 6, 2022, in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with Rev. Lyman Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Macedonia Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the funeral home.
