Mr. Jason Scott Hawkins, age 44, of Murrayville passed away Friday, May 24, 2019.

Jason was born in Hall County on June 7, 1974 to the late Jeffery and Cheryl Peck Hawkins.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers Herman Sullens and Robert Lee "Sam" Peck.  Jason was a 1993 graduate of North Hall High School.  He was employed with Wahoo Tree Service.  Jason was a loving father and brother.  His love for people and the outdoors was expressed each day in Jason's life.

Survivors include his son Gavin Scott Hawkins, Murrayville; brother and sister-in-law Jeremy and Teresa Peck, Dahlonega; maternal grandmother Frances Sullens, Murrayville; uncles and aunts Shane and Tonya Peck, Murrayville, Billy and Lisa Farr, Gainesville, Jerry and Teresa Deyton, Gainesville, and Wanda Stockton, Dahlonega; and the mother of his son Michelle Rubio, Acworth.

A celebration of Jason's life will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.
