Mrs. Jean Stancil, age 87, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026. Mrs. Stancil was born on April 22, 1939.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with the Reverend Lyman Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow at Dahlonega Memorial Park with Mr. Kevin Carlisle officiating.
