Mrs. Jeannie Lynn Brady, age 53, of Murrayville, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023.

Jeannie was born on June 29, 1969, to Samuel Ledell Martin and Betty Jo Martin. She was the God Mother of four beautiful girls; she taught them about God and inspired them in their lives. She was lovingly known as "Mama Jeannie." Jeannie loved horses and often said, "When I'm on a horse, I feel free!". She also loved her dog, Terra, bird, Shadow, and loved blue swallowtail butterflies. Jeannie was often referred to as "Nature Girl" by her family.

Jeannie is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Ledell Martin; sister Denice Martin; and grandparents.

Survivors include her mother, Betty Jo Martin of Alpharetta; sisters Karen LoKay (Jim) of Gainesville, Sandra Tomlin (Billy) of McDonough; brother John Ray Martin of Alpharetta; niece Jennifer Krauss (Jay), nephews Daniel Elsasser and Brian Elsasser; great nieces and nephews Sarah Elsasser, James LoKay, Willow Elsasser, and William Elsasser.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 23, 2023, at Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Mark Stroud will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM Monday prior to the service.
