Jeffry Griffith Valle, age 73, died on February 20, 2026, in Gainesville, Georgia, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his older brother, Gary; his younger brother, Galen; and his nephew, Trevor. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jim, and his parents, Jacinto R. Valle and Linda Griffith Valle.

Jeff was born in Atlanta, Georgia, at Crawford Long Hospital. He lived and worked in several different states throughout his life, including California, Texas, New Hampshire, and Georgia. In later years he made north Georgia his home, residing in Lumpkin County for the final decades of his life.

He worked as a software developer for most of his career, a profession well suited to his lifelong fascination with technology and computers. In his free time, he enjoyed amateur radio and astronomy, interests that allowed him to connect with people around the world while observing the wonders of the night sky. Jeff also loved cats and shared his home with three feline companions in his later years.

Jeff was a good-natured, caring, and fun-loving person who will be missed by his friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors.

In honor of his memory, donations may be made to the Cancer Research Institute or to the Habersham County Animal Shelter.
