John Robert "Robby" Day, age 43, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away on September 1, 2015. Robby was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. He was a building contractor and was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. Robby is survived by his wife, Lucy Day, Dahlonega, GA; children Ben Day, Delana Day, and Tiffany Carlisle; mother, Linda Day, Dawsonville, GA; father J.R. Day, Mt. Airy, GA;sisters, Brandy Taylor, Cornelia, GA and Jessica Day, Mt. Airy, GA. A number of other relatives also survive. Funeral services for Robby are scheduled for 3:30 PM Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA. Rev. Charles Grant and Rev. James Lee will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County. The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 5 PM until 9 PM, all day on Saturday, and again on Sunday until time of service.
