Mr. John David Price, age 75, of Dahlonega, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

John was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. He was born on June 2, 1951, to the late Dock and Gladys Smith Price.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Odes Price, Charles Price, Edna Murray, Ellen Simpson, Elizabeth Price, and Eugene Dock Price.

Mr. Price was of the Baptist faith. He loved hunting and fishing and, most of all, spending time with his family. He was a dedicated employee of Fieldale, where he drove a truck for many years.

John is survived by his children, Cari and Josh Jones of Dahlonega, John Casey Price of Dahlonega, Chris Pittman of Braselton, Renee Patterson of Dahlonega, and Devin Price of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Kinszlee Jones, Autumn Jones, Canyon Jones, Victoria Price, Stormy Price, Hannah Price, Leah Smith, Aiden Nichols, Ethan Nichols, Haden McKenzie, Rene Love, Jacob Faber, and Cherokee Thompson; siblings, Pricilla Ashmore, Sally Motes, and Emma Ovellene Bruce; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
