Mrs. Johnnie Marie Castro, age 73, of Loganville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. She was born in Dahlonega, Georgia, on August 3, 1949, to the late Ed Seabolt and the late Edna Seitz Seabolt.

Johnnie was a loving wife, an extraordinary mother, and Mimi/Nana to her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, growing orchids, listening to music, reading her bible, and loved spending time with her family. She was always finding ways to minister to people, giving her the strength to persevere through her significant health challenges.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Randolph Seabolt.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Randy Castro of Loganville; children Terry (Josy) Castro of Roswell and Samantha (Joe) Hunnius of Canton; siblings Fran Knox, Irene Waters, Betty Seabolt, Sonny (Brenda) Seabolt, and Bonnie Freeland; sister-in-law Shirley Seabolt; grandchildren Valentina Marie Castro, Eva Marie Hunnius and Kate Lynn Hunnius; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4:30 PM on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM.
