Mr. Jonathan Franklin Grizzle, age 32, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023. He was born on January 24, 1991, in Lumpkin County to John Grizzle and Shirley Armstrong Meadows.

Those fortunate enough to know Jonathan will forever remember him for his funny, goofy nature. He had the biggest heart and was always there when you needed a friend. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of time hunting and fishing.

Jonathan had a very special relationship with his daughter, Keylee. Not only was she his daughter, but she was also his best friend for 14 years- his true sidekick. The amount of fun they had together, throwing circles and doing all the things that best friends do, will forever be embedded in the memories of those who witnessed it.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Faye and Billy Armstrong; paternal grandfather John Franklin Grizzle; uncle Bill Grizzle; and a number of other aunts and uncles; cousin Brandon Sullens and nephew Harley Grizzle.

He is survived by his daughter, Keylee Grizzle of Dahlonega; parents John Grizzle and Shirley (Jerome) Meadows of Dahlonega; siblings Christopher (Tyler) Grizzle, Caleb Meadows, and Mary Meadows; mother of daughter Kellyn Grizzle; paternal grandparents Joyce and Larry Maloch; niece Kaydance Grizzle; aunts and uncles Jackie (Nancy) Grizzle and Martha Faye Armstrong; numerous cousins, friends, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Antioch Baptist Church. The Rev. Jeff Graham will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, from 10:00 AM until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home to help the family offset final expenses.
