Judy Chaffin, age 73, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away on February 28, 2025. She was born on February 4, 1952, in Atlanta, GA, to the late DL Odum and the late Imogene Wilmoth Driver. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Chaffin, and 1 sibling.

Judy is survived by her loving children, Tracy (John) Ayers of Cleveland, Jimmy Elliot of Cleveland, Jay (Anna) Kile of Dawsonville, Jeannie (Rodney) Jinks of Acworth, Joanna (Brian) Martin of Dahlonega, and Bridget Chaffin of Mt. Airy; 3 siblings; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. Her beloved dog, Missy, also survives her.

Judy was always on the go, known for her frequent visits to flea markets and auction houses in search of bargains. She had a deep love for both the beach and the mountains. Judy was cherished as a wonderful mama and granny to many, known for her big heart and readiness to help anyone in need.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 until the service hour.
