Mrs. Kathy D. Ellis, age 75, of Dahlonega passed away Friday, September 11, 2020.

Kathy was born in Lumpkin County on June 27, 1945 to the late Hughes M. Dorsey and Bonnie Willie Nell Cain Grizzle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Tim Grizzle, Gerald Grizzle, and Cathy Mae Vaughn.

Survivors include her children Charles Thompson and Ricky Thompson; siblings William Grizzle, Lynn Grizzle, Gary Grizzle, Arthur Ray Grizzle, and Rita Jarrard; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service for Kathy is scheduled for 1:00 PM Monday, September 14, 2020 at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.
