Kathleen C. Littlejohn, age 84, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014. Kathleen was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County and a homemaker. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was of the Pentecostal faith and actively attended The Fortress church in Dahlonega, GA. She was the daughter of the late George and Dora Gilleland Cantrell, and is also preceded in death by her brothers, Junior Cantrell, Travis Cantrell, and Thomas Cantrell; and her sisters, Daisy Bafile and Nellie Gahagan. Mrs. Littlejohn is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ralph Littlejohn of Dahlonega, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Pam Littlejohn, Dahlonega, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Tammie and George Brown, Dahlonega, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hoyt and Bessie Cantrell, Dahlonega, GA, Robert Lee and Evelyn Cantrell, Greenville, SC; sister, Sue O'Hanlon, Dahlonega, GA; brother-in-law, Ronnie Bafile, Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Heath and Ashley Brown, Kelli Brown, and Stephanie Littlejohn; and great grandchildren, Skylar Brown, Aidan Brown, and Brody "Littlejohn" Tanner. Several nieces, nephews, and many children she looked after over 33 years, especially Taylor Rider, and a number of other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services for Kathleen are scheduled for 1 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA. Rev. Joel Crotzer of The Fortress will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega, GA. The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 4 PM until 9 PM, Monday, September 15, 2014, and 9 AM until time of service on Tuesday September 16, 2014.
