Kathy Marlene Porter Davis, age 65, of Dawsonville, GA passed away on August 1, 2016.

Kathy was the daughter of the late John Neil and Shirley Lawrence Porter.  She is also preceded in death by her brothers, John Clayton Porter and Michael Tyrone Porter.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Jimmy Davis, Dawsonville, GA; sons, Charles Bradley Duff, Ball Ground, GA, Brian Jason Davis, Oakwood, GA, Todd Matthew Davis, Dahlonega, GA; brother, Kenneth Franklin Porter, Jackson, GA; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Kathy are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday August 4, 2016 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Davis Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Wednesday August 3, 2016 from 5 PM to 9 PM and again on Thursday August 4, 2016 from 10 AM until time of service.
