Obituary

Mr. Kevin Christopher Dennen, age 65, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday morning, June 15, 2024. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, on March 3, 1959, to the late Roy Dennen and Annabelle Taynor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandchild, Baby Fowler, and special friend Teresa Singleton.

Kevin proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having completed his training at Paris Island Boot Camp and serving in Twenty Nine Palms, California. For the last 20 years, he worked diligently at Charles Black Construction. Beyond his career, Kevin cherished his family and friends deeply. He had a passion for animals, classic cars, college football (especially supporting Ohio State), and delighted in cooking and hosting grill-outs for loved ones.

Surviving Kevin is his devoted wife of 40 years, Rhonda Faye Dennen; his son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Jenny Fowler; his daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Nick Cuneo; his beloved grandchildren: Livia Fowler, Kahlan Fowler, Zackariah Fowler, Cooper Cuneo, and Beau Cuneo, all residing in Dahlonega. He is also survived by his sister, Kimberly St. George of Helen; nephews Joshua (Michelle) Heintzelman of Cleveland and Michael Heintzelman of Helen; great niece, Tausha Mallory; great nephews, Sebastian and Cody Heintzelman; special great-niece Renee Heintzelman of Indiana; and his dear friend Terence Singleton of Arkansas.

A Memorial Celebration of Kevin's life will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home, where Reverend Bart McMillian will officiate. The family will receive friends starting at 3:00 PM until the time of the service. A private graveside service will take place on a later date in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
