Kevin Woods, age 65 of Dahlonega, Georgia formerly of Hawksinsville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Kevin was a musician with bands in Hawkinsville and in Dahlonega. He retired from the Georgia Department of Agriculture. During his retirement, he enjoyed simply rocking on his porch and watching the birds.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Vicki Upchurch Woods; son Carlton Tippett Woods and daughter Mackenzie Jo (Matt) Brown; two sisters, two brothers, four sister-in-laws and two brother-in-laws; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive.

A celebration of life will be held in Dahlonega and in Hawkinsville in the future.
