Mrs. Kristy Summerour Stepp, age 51, of Dahlonega, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Kristy was born on July 6, 1973, in Dawsonville. She was a 1991 graduate of Dawson County High School. A member of Chestatee Worship Center, Kristy found joy in her faith, family, and the love she shared with those around her. She was a beloved mother to her children and a cherished "Nana" to her grandchildren, who brought light and happiness to her life. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Kristy was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Stepp. She is survived by her loving children, Caleb and Ashley Stepp; Kaleigh and Dalton Greene; Alyssa and Cody Hamm. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Callie Stepp, Kolsten Greene, Haddie Stepp, Kopelyn Greene, Brody Stepp, and Holden Greene, all of Dahlonega. She is also survived by her parents, Russell and Cheryl Summerour; her brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Kate Summerour, all of Hogansville; her mother-in-law, Shirley Stepp of Dahlonega; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ricky and Regina Stepp; her sister-in-law Theresa (Jimmy) Stepp; her brother-in-law Keith (Rhonda) Davis, along with several nieces, nephews, and other beloved relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Chestatee Worship Center, with Rev. Ricky Stepp officiating. Kristy will be laid to rest at Dawsonville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. She will lie in state at the church on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
