Lamar Dee Sullens, age 68, of Murrayville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

Mr. Sullens was born on August 1, 1957, in Dahlonega, Georgia, to the late Robert "Dee" Sullens and the late Mary Baker Sullens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Mickey Crawford and Benny Sullens.

Lamar was a strong-willed man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved riding the roads, stopping in to visit with friends and neighbors, and never passed up the chance to join a good poker game if one was underway. He will be remembered for his independent spirit and the connections he made with those around him.

He is survived by his children, Kevin Sullens, Felicia (Tim) Presley, and Cody (Tamara) Sullens; and his cherished grandchildren, Cierra Segars, Hayden Sullens, Brooklyn Sullens, Peyton Presley, Hannah Grace Sullens, and Evan Sullens. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the service hour. A graveside service will be held at a later time in the cemetery of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
