Leeland Kent Ridley, age 68, of Murrayville, GA, passed away on February 23, 2025. He was born on April 15, 1956, in Dahlonega, GA, to the late Charlie Ridley and Mattie Gooch Ridley.

In addition to his parents, Leeland was preceded in death by his brothers, Phillip Ridley and Greg Ridley, and his father-in-law, Lloyd Henderson.

Leeland leaves behind his loving wife of 15 years, Joy Ridley, and his stepchildren, Corey Henderson of Murrayville, GA, and April (Stephen) Harper of Maitland, FL. He is also survived by his brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Mike Henderson, Genevieve and Ray Whitmore, Janice and Doobie White, Tammy and Jimmy Chastain, Mitchell and Haley Henderson, as well as his cherished mother-in-law, Bernice Henderson.

Leeland's special friends Fred Fitts and Jimmy Berry, along with his loyal dog "Champ," will also greatly miss him. He is further survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A strong Christian, Leeland was loved by many and will be deeply missed. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs, and cheering on Chase Elliott on Sundays. Known for his easy-going nature, Leeland's kind spirit touched all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Cleveland Worship Center. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to any Charity that you feel led to support.

Leeland's legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
