Leroy Elliott, age 86, a lifelong resident of Dahlonega , GA passed way January 18, 2016 at his residence.

Leroy was a sawmiller and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church , Dahlonega , GA.

Leroy is preceded in death by his parents, Will and Eula Hulsey Elliott; wife, Inez Elliott; brothers, Jim Elliott and J.B. Elliott; sisters, Willene Elliott Rider and Cat Elliott Miller.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Alice Elliott, Dahlonega, GA; daughter, Elaine Elliott, Duluth, GA; sister, Fannie Perry, Dawsonville, GA; grandson, C.J. Elliott, Dahlonega, GA. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Leroy are scheduled for 2 PM Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega , GA .

Rev. David Bost and Rev. Phillip Partin will officiate.

Interment will follow in the St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery , Dahlonega , GA.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega , GA on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 5 PM to 9 PM .
