Lewis Douglas Crumley, age 70, of North Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

Born on February 15, 1956, in Gainesville, Georgia, Lewis was the son of the late James Ralph Crumley and the late Annie Mae Grindle Crumley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Crumley, and his brother, Rickey Crumley.

Lewis is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Tina Crumley; his children, Douglas (Tammy) Crumley and Lacy Wilson; his cherished grandchildren, Tyler Crumley and Jacelyn Wilson, who lovingly knew him as "PeePaw"; and his brothers, Ralph (Nadine) Crumley and Davis (Bonnie) Crumley.

Lewis was the kind of man who always seemed happy and found joy in the simple things in life. He loved to "piddle," always finding a project to keep his hands busy. Nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. One of his favorite pastimes was sitting down for tea parties with Jacelyn, moments that will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved him. Lewis loved his family fiercely, lived life on his own terms, and approached each day with a zest for life that was contagious. His warm spirit, easy smile, and unwavering love for those closest to him will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In accordance with his wishes, Lewis will be cremated following the visitation.
