Lillian G. Mincey, age 83, of Dahlonega, peacefully passed away on January 27, 2025. She was born on December 2, 1941, in Dahlonega to the late Kermit Mincey and the late Virginia Sullens Mincey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronnie Mincey, Wayne Mincey, and Vincent Mincey. She is survived by her sisters, Hellen (Tom) Ayers of Dawsonville, and Susan Chapman of Murrayville. Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.

Lillian was the eldest among her siblings, assuming responsibilities at home while her parents tended to the fields and chicken houses. This built a deep bond with her siblings that they will forever cherish and appreciate. She was beloved by all who knew her, known for her ability to find and embrace the beauty of nature to its fullest extent.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Reverend Danny Ayers will officiate. Interment will follow at the cemetery of St. Paul's Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
