Mrs. Linda Gaddis Coker, age 77 of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022. She was born on March 15, 1945 in Hall County to the late Odell Gaddis and the late Olean Ramey Gaddis.
Those who know Linda had a great example of a "virtuous woman", as the Bible speaks of. Linda was a woman full of love and grace. Her devotion to her family was unmeasurable. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She worked for many years as an accountant, all while maintaining a beautiful, love filled, Christ centered home.
She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Robert Coker of Dahlonega; children Troy (Michelle) Evans of Montana, Timothy (Jessica) Evans of Dahlonega, Cindy (Marc) Pfrogner of Dahlonega, Sandra Coker of Juliette, Georgia, Margie (David) Jones of Kathleen, Georgia, and Sharon (Greg) Purcell of Dahlonega; siblings, Milton (Betty Jean) Gaddis, Brenda Bailey, Odell (Mary) Gaddis Jr, Glen Gaddis, Sheila Gaddis and Marsha (Chuck) Scott; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Nimblewill Baptist church with Rev. Mickey Wheeler and Rev. Alan Swofford officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Kris Butler officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and on Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
