Linda Ann Hughes' Obituary
Mrs. Linda Ann Hughes, age, 61, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 at her home.
Linda was born in Great Lakes, IL June 15, 1954 and had lived in Lumpkin County since 2001.
She loved all animals, especially horses. She has owned, ridden, and bred horses at her ranch, Acorn Acres Arabian. She had a special love for animals that had been abused.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Emmett Peters; and an infant brother, Michael Eugene Peters.
Linda is survived by her husband, James "Bobby" Hughes, Dahlonega, GA; step-daughter, Mary Ann Carpenter, Dahlonega, GA; granddaughter, LaDalle Carpenter, mother, Mary Allore, Ohio; sister, Lisa Fisher, Ohio. A number of other relatives also survive.
A Celebration of Life for Linda is scheduled for 3 PM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 30 minutes prior to the service and immediately following the service.
