Obituary

Lottie Christine Grizzle Lee, age 95, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on December 1, 2025. She was born in Lumpkin County on March 17, 1930, to the late Homer Grizzle and the late Argie Higgins Grizzle.

She was a lifelong member of Salem Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. She was a homemaker and was employed by Ninth District Opportunity for 10 years.

Lottie was devoted to her family and was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She always enjoyed going to their sporting events and never missed a game. She loved quilting and enjoyed going to craft shows. She took great pride in her handmade quilts and loved sharing her art. She also enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Archie (Mimi) Lee; daughter, Linda Lee Fuller; grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Lydia, and Larissa; great-grandchildren, Evie, Shelby, Kelsea, Bentley, Trinity, Paisley, Emily, Joshua, Caroline, Colby, Aliah, Jaxon, and Camryn. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives also survive.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Roscoe Lee, whom she worked beside for many years as a chicken farmer and in growing crops. She is also preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Wesley and Elizabeth Lee; son-in-law, Bobby Fuller; siblings, Elmer (Lena) Fortner, Ed (Cleta Mae) Fortner, Hubert (Jessie Lee) Grizzle, Lee (Allene) Grizzle, Hoyt Grizzle, Girlie (R.L.) Crisson, and Fannie Bell Long.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Jason Fuller will officiate. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Cane Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the service hour. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Gold City Assisted Living in memory of Lottie Lee.
