Rev. Lyndon Eubanks, age 86, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on February 9, 2026.

He was born on November 5, 1939, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Lamar Eubanks and the late Mary Coursey Eubanks.

Rev. Eubanks is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Nancy Sheffield Eubanks; his children, Laurie Eubanks Vakili and Clay Eubanks (Betsy), all of Dahlonega; and his cherished grandchildren, Anna Vakili McAfee (Adam), Stephanie Ann Tibbs (Zach), and Jack Eubanks (Emma Bakker).

A devoted servant of God, Rev. Eubanks was a retired pastor of Nacoochee Methodist Church in the Sautee Valley. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, whose faith, kindness, and compassion touched many lives.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Gainesville First United Methodist Church, with The Rev. Parks Davis and The Rev. Jamey Prickett officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Nacoochee Methodist Church, PO Box 426, Sautee Nacoochee, GA 30571.
