Mrs. Marcia Lynn Hope, age 59, of Dahlonega passed away Monday, May 25, 2020.

Mrs. Hope was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. She was born on July 23, 1960. Mrs. Hope was preceded in death by her mother Margene Grizzle; son Scotty Beck; and sister Marie Miles. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Hope was her mother's caregiver until she passed away in August 2018.

Survivors include her nephew Tony Porter, Locust Grove; granddaughter Ashley Truelove; father Carson Wood; best friend Cathy Garcia; and several great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, May 29, 2020 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Preacher Freddie Bryan and Mr. Donnie Cantrell will officiate.
