Margaret Aline Gravley, age 71, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 following an extended illness. Margaret was born and raised in Marietta, GA, and had spent the past 25 years in Lumpkin County. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and was of the Baptist faith. She was the daughter of the late Thurman and Hazel Cook Deavers, and was also preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Harvey Gravley; and daughters, Jackie Pensula and Becky Brown. Margaret is survived by son, Jason Gravley, Dahlonega, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Melanie Gravley, Acworth, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Debi and Jerry Wheeling, Douglasville, GA; daughters,Teri Bennett, Faye Henson, and Sonya Wood; daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Ken Leach, all of Dahlonega, GA; daughter, Vicki Sane, Douglasville, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Bonnie Deavers, Powder Springs, GA; brothers, Lloyd and Howard Deavers, both of Marietta, GA. 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives also survive. Funeral Services for Margaret are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA. Rev. Dexter Landers will officiate. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County. The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 1PM until 9 PM on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 and from 9AM until time of service on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.
