Mark Anthony Littleton, age 51, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at his home in Dahlonega. Mark was a native of Lumpkin County and except for his time in the U.S. Navy he was a lifelong resident. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of honorable service to his country. Mark was the son of the late Joe Wayne Littleton and Jeweleen Ledford Beck and was also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Littleton; and his sister, Carolyn Allison. He is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Shawn and Heavenly Littleton, Dahlonega, GA; and sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Vince Lefler, Franklin, TN. A number of other relatives also survive. A graveside funeral service for Mark is scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County. Vince Lefler will officiate. The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Sunday, August 28, 2015 from 11 AM until 1:30 PM.
