Mrs. Mary Alice Seabolt, age 82, of Dahlonega, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018.

Mrs. Seabolt was born in Jackson County on June 1, 1935 to the late George and Dovie Hunsinger Patton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Seabolt; daughters Virginia Seabolt and Janice Nix; son David Seabolt.  Mrs. Seabolt was the last of her siblings to pass away.  She worked at Gold City Convalescent Center for many years.  Mrs. Seabolt was a homemaker and a member of Yahoola Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons and daughters in law Larry Wayne and Margaret Seabolt; James and Becky Seabolt; son Thomas Seabolt; daughter and son in law Rebbeca and Josh Harkins; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Yahoola Baptist Church. The Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Saturday at Banister Funeral Home.
