Mattie Cuelean Patterson, age 86, of Oldfort, TN (formerly of Dahlonega, GA) passed away on Wednesday December 14, 2016.

Mattie was born in Gainesville, GA on September 27, 1930 and was a member of Nimblewill Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Lee and Vicie Martin Truelove and was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James Howard Patterson; brothers, Grant Truelove and Harold Truelove; and sisters, Alwayne Satterfield and Sandra Lambert.

Mattie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Teresa Patterson, Cleveland, TN; son, Kenny Patterson, Oldfort, TN; brother, LC Truelove, Dahlonega, GA; sister, Virginia Greenway, Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Jason and Jenny Patterson, Matthew Patterson, Mark and Heather Patterson, Cricket and Blake Buol, Emily Patterson, and Tia Patterson; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mattie are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday December 18, 2016 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Jimmy Chester and JR Fields will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Saturday December 17, 2016 from 4 PM until 9 PM and again on Sunday December 18, 2016 from 10 AM until service time.
