Michael Dane, age 84, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on December 17, 2025.

Michael was born on May 26, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Luke Dane and the late Louise Scmidt Dane.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from February 1959 to February 1965, achieving the rank of Airman. Following his military service, Michael was a longtime member of the CWA Union (Telecommunications), where he built a career marked by dedication and hard work.

Michael was an avid knife and gun collector and had a lifelong passion for automobiles. He especially loved attending car shows, where he proudly displayed his 1964 Ford F-100 Custom, earning numerous trophies over the years. He enjoyed sharing stories, craftsmanship, and camaraderie with fellow enthusiasts.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Brooks of Dahlonega; his daughter, Julie Crites of Seward, Alaska; grandchildren Jacob, Josey, and Kyle Marshall; and great-grandchildren KJ, CJ, Kohen, Wolfe, Lorraine Marshall, and Jaelyn Crites.

In accordance with his wishes, Michael will be cremated. No public services will be held.
