Mr. Michael William Obrien, age 71, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on August 4, 2021. He was born on October 22, 1949 to the late Wila Mae Housley Obrien. Michael worked for the University of North Georgia as a custodian.

He is survived by his best friend, Gina Caldwell, as well as six cousins, Jimmy (Lynn) Wood of Dahlonega, Susan (Royce) Mason of Gainesville, Cindy (Larry) Adams of Denver, CO, Chip Housley of Dahlonega, Judy Housley of Dahlonega, and Barbara (Shaun) Robinson of Atlanta.

It was Michael's wishes to be cremated. No public services are planned at this time.
