Michael "Mike" Stepp, age 40, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. He was born on April 5, 1983, in Greenville, South Carolina.
As a lover of the great outdoors, Mike's spirit came alive amidst the beauty of nature. Whether he was exploring the woods, casting his line while fishing, or teeing off on a golf course, his love for nature was evident in every aspect of his life. He was always having a good time with his friends and family, living life to its fullest. Always ready with a hug and a smile, Mike's outgoing, personable, and caring nature made him an instant friend to all he encountered.
Mike's talents extended beyond his warm personality and love for nature. He was a skilled paint and body man with a passion for restoring and working on old cars. His dedication and expertise led him to work in a paint and body shop, where his craftsmanship touched the lives of many, leaving behind a trail of happy customers and grateful friends.
In his heart, Mike held a special place for his family. He leaves behind his loving wife, Selena Wilson Stepp, who was the center of his world. Mike cherished the role of stepfather to Colt Bailey and Cayden Bailey, guiding and nurturing them with the same love and care he shared with everyone he knew. His father, Ric Stepp, and sister, Jessica Malloy, were blessed to have experienced Mike's unwavering support and affection. Grandpa Raymond Stepp, along with numerous friends and relatives, also mourn the loss of this extraordinary man.
He is preceded in death by his grandma Jane Stepp; uncle Mike Stepp; and mother-in-law Roxie Epperson.
