Mr. Micheal "Yogi" Tritt, age 60, of Dahlonega passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Oaks at Hampton in Cumming, GA with his family by his side.

Yogi was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. He was born on June 14, 1957 to the late Hoyt and Azalea Head Tritt.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rebecca Tritt and sister Patsy Tritt Rider. Yogi worked in construction and he was a member of Concord Baptist Church. He loved to hunt, fish, and watch the Atlanta Braves.

Survivors include his brother and sister in law Ronnie and Laura Brashears-Tritt, Luther, OK; sister and brother in law Norma and Luther "Bud" Adams, Dahlonega; brother and sister in law Ricky and Trudy Tritt, Dahlonega; brother and sister in law Darrell and Jackie Tritt, McCaysville; brother in law Luther Rider, Dahlonega; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the chapel of Banister Funeral Home. The Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.  Interment will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-9 PM Wednesday and Thursday until the service at the funeral home.
