Mildred Lorene Chambers, age 90, of Dahlonega, GA died Friday, September 27, 2013. Mildred was born in Winchester, TN, but spent all of her adult life in Lumpkin County where she was a homemaker. She was of the Christian Faith, and a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed her time spent in church. The daughter of the late Lindsey and Jennie Clarke Garner, Mrs. Chambers was also preceded in death by her son, Ronald Wayne Chambers; son-in-law, James Davie Eaton; a brother, and several sisters. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Sheila Eaton; grandchildren, Melissa and Tyler Odom; Crystal and Tony Ralston; and great-grandchildren, Christin Nicole Tuggle and Ace Logan Odom all of Dahlonega, GA. A graveside service for Mildred is scheduled for 3 PM Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tony Allison and Brother Blake Grizzle will officiate. The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 11 AM until time of service.
