Milton "Mickey" Lamar Howard, age 85, of Dawsonville, GA passed away peaceful with his wife of 64 years at his side Friday, February 26, 2016 at his residence.

Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Mamie Howard; and brothers, Leon Howard, James Howard, Robert Howard and Wayne Howard.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Howard, Dawsonville, GA; son, Milton "Mick" Howard Jr. and partner Brian Jackson, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Julie Howard King and Mike King, Gainesville ,GA; grandchildren, Scott and Lisa King, Savannah, GA and Kelley King, Buford, GA; nephews, Jim Howard, Dunlap, TN and Edward Howard, Chickamauga, GA.

Funeral services for Mickey are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Christy Greenwald will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega, GA.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 4 PM to 7 PM.
