Morene Anderson, age 90, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on August 26, 2023. She was born on November 7, 1932, in Jefferson, Georgia, to the late Delmar Maloch and the late Maebell Lee Maloch.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband of 31 years, Cleve Ray, and her second husband of 32 years, Ray Gene Anderson; children Johnny Ray, Linda Seabolt, Joan Nosworthy, and Jean Ray; grandchildren Sammy Ingram and Larry Wayne Norsworthy; great-grandchild Brittany Jones; and siblings, Dean Maloch, Leon Maloch, Janice Haynes, and Lillian Beasley.

She leaves behind a legacy of love in the hearts of her 22 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and loved ones.
A woman of warmth and compassion, Morene's love for her family knew no bounds. Her family was her life's greatest joy and achievement. She was a nurturing presence, offering support, guidance, and love to her children and extended family. Morene's capacity to love was evident in every interaction, and her kindness resonated with everyone she encountered. In her quieter moments, Morene found joy in the beauty of the world around her. She took pleasure in the songs of birds, the vibrant colors of her garden, and the art of preserving nature's bounty through canning. Her mind was always engaged with crossword puzzles that challenged her intellect and brought her joy.
