Mr. Odes Daniel Price, age 76, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022. He was born on November 25, 1945 in Dahlonega to the late Dock Price and the late Gladys Smith Price. Everyone who knew Odes loved him. He was a hard working man, a great husband and father. He set an amazing example to all of the young men around him of what a father is supposed to be.

In addition to his parents, Odes is preceded in death by his loving wife, Ida Effie McClure Price.

He is survived by his children, Daniel Price of Dahlonega, Effie Price of Dahlonega, Elaine (Melvin) Jarrett of Blue Ridge, Michael (Melinda) Price of Dahlonega and Walter Price of Dahlonega; siblings Ovellene Bruce, Pricilla Ashmore, Sallie Motes, John Price, and Charles Price; twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives also survive.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 31, 2022, in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Biddy officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 30, 2022.
