Mr. Ottie Lee Stringer, age 75, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021.
Mr. Stringer was born on May 19, 1946, in Dahlonega, GA. He was preceded in death by his sons, Rodney Ottie Stringer and Keith Stringer. Mr. Stringer served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He
was a Marine Surveyor for 45 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Stringer of Gainesville, GA, grandchildren, Lindsey Nicole and Justin Charles; and sister Ora Dale Stringer. He is divorced from Johnetha Sosebee Stringer and neither ever remarried. Ottie was the son of Robert and Christy Bragg Stringer.
A private memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 11, 2021, in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Les Fuller and the Rev. Tim Hicks will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery at 4:00 PM with military honors.
