Mr. Paul "Jimmy" Grizzle, age 84, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. He was born on July 26, 1939 in Dahlonega, Georgia, to the late Arthur Grizzle and the late Mary Jane Gilleland Grizzle. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 8 brothers and 4 sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Diane Grizzle; children Pam Luettgen of Alpharetta, Angie (David) Patterson of Dahlonega, Kimbro (Jennifer) Grizzle of Gainesville, Sonja Grizzle of Gainesville, Jonathan Grizzle of Dahlonega, Jennifer (Steven) Mackler of Dawsonville; and brother Emanuel (Betty) Grizzle of Buford; 12 grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the service hour.
