Mr. Phillip "Skip" Davis, age 66, of Dahlonega passed away Friday, May 13, 2022.

Mr. Davis was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County.  He was born on August 2, 1955.  Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his father Leeman Davis and sisters-in-law Linda Davis and Kathy Davis.  He was a jack of all trades and loved to fish.  Mr. Davis will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

Survivors include his significant other, Wanda Silvers, Dahlonega; mother Ruby Davis, Dahlonega; brother James Davis (Carolyn), Dawsonville; brother Jimmy Davis, Dahlonega; sister Deborah Adams (James), Dahlonega; brother Lehmon Lamarce Davis (Michael), Glen Saint Mary, Flordia; son Christopher Michael Davis (Candace), Kansas; step-sons Richard Silvers (Amanda); Joshua Timms; grandchildren Caitlin Davis, Jacob Davis, Lauren Davis, Reaver Davis, Rook Davis, Kayla Silvers, Austen Harkins, Nathan Silvers, Gracie Harkins, Wyatt Harkins; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.  The Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.  Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 Pm at the funeral home.
