Mrs. Rachel Adame Wilkerson, age 77, of Dahlonega passed away Monday, October 19, 2020.

Mrs. Wilkerson was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 13, 1943 to the late Victor and Lola Salazar Adame. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Adame.  Mrs. Wilkerson was beloved in the community she called home.  Her fellow merchants often visited "The Gold Shop" on the Dahlonega square for a friendly chat with their friend.  Mrs. Wilkerson was deeply committed to her faith and was a woman of the Lord. She was a member of The Fortress Church.

Survivors include her sisters Yolanda Adame, Alto, and Marie Salas, Dahlonega; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 5:00 PM Thursday, October 22, 2020 at The Fortress Church.  The Rev. Joel Crotzer will officiate.  Interment will follow in Dahlonega Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to the service hour Thursday at the church.
