Raymond Grizzle, age 42, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on September 17, 2026. He was born in Dahlonega, Georgia, on July 23, 1984, to Timothy Wymer and Annie Grizzle Rushing.

Raymond was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He was a man who cared deeply for the people around him and was always willing to help others. Raymond loved country music and enjoyed fixing things, especially working on and bringing old lawnmowers back to life. He also enjoyed dipping his Stokers Mint tobacco. Above all, Raymond loved his family dearly, especially his children and granddaughter. He was a wonderful husband, a loving son-in-law, and a faithful friend to many. Raymond also had a special love for animals.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Jackie Grizzle of Gainesville; his children, Seth Treadaway of Gainesville, Matthew and Brianna Treadaway of Cleveland, Sarah Treadaway of Gainesville, and Andrew Treadaway of Dahlonega; his father, Tim Wymer (Tammy); his mother, Annie Grizzle Rushing; his siblings, Jonathan Rushing, Michael Rushing, and Cody Wymer; his granddaughter, Clem Trejo; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Harold and Marie Murphy of Gainesville; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Raymond was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lois May Grizzle and James “Jim” Grizzle; and his uncle, Bill Grizzle.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home to assist with Raymond’s final expenses.
