Ricky Allen Duckworth, age 55, of Dahlonega, GA passed away suddenly on Tuesday November 21, 2016.

Ricky was a real sweetheart and would help out whenever he could. He worked for many years in construction which took him to many places all over the country, but called Dahlonega home. He was a true country boy and would be quick with a country quote.

Ricky was the son of the late Rufus and Charlsea Mason Duckworth. He is also preceded in death by son, Jeremy Duckworth; and sister, Nancy Maness.

Ricky is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Duckworth; brothers and sisters in-law, Terry and Karlyn Duckworth, Gary and Judy Duckworth, Larry and Shelia Duckworth; sisters and brothers in-law, Linda and Phil Lingerfelt, Connie and David Samples; step-father, Tommy Carney; and special friend, Janice Taylor. Several grandchildren and numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Ricky are scheduled for 3 PM Wednesday November 23, 2016 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell and Rev. Jason Moon will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Wednesday November 23, 2016 from 11 AM until time of service.
