Robert L. Bryant, age 91, of Dahlonega, GA, died Friday, December 20, 2013 at Gold City Convalescent Center in Dahlonega, GA. Mr. Bryant was born September 30, 1922 in Wellsboro, PA. He had lived in Georgia since 1987. He was a retired barber and was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville. He was the son of the late Jesse and Louise Grinnell Bryant and was also preceded in death by his wife, Anna Maynard Bryant, granddaughters, Ann Heichel, Tammy Zemaitis, and Sarah Bryant; brother, Jesse J. Bryant; and sister, Cora Scranton. Mr. Bryant is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Cinda Heichel, Gainesville, GA, Krista and Claude Holloway, Rome, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, George and Verla Bryant, Wellsboro, PA, Lane and Tricia Bryant, York, PA. 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives also survive. Graveside services in Wellsboro Cemetery to be scheduled at a later date.
